X-Pact has two missionary partners in Northern Thailand – Brother Assanee and Sister Prae.

Brother Assanee

Ps Assanee pastors a vibrant church in Chiang Mai City, The Meeting Point Church. He, despite being a Karen, serves among the Shan tribe. On Sunday, Meeting Point Church has two services, one in the morning and the other in the evening. The evening service is for the Shan people, who are primarily migrant industrial workers. He also has language classes for Shan children who have lost the ability to speak their native language. This is an outreach bridging activity. As another form of outreach, he has started football sessions to befriend youths with the love of Christ. Every year, special outreach programs – such as concert, medical mission, community help project, and Christmas celebrations – are also organized.

Sister Prae

Pastor Prae leads The City of Glory Church in Chiang Mai City. However, the church has a vision to plant churches in areas where there are no churches. Hence, they have developed a church planting outreach ministry in Po Ann village amongst the Karen tribe. In the city area, the church operates a female hostel for university students, and these young people are groomed to take on leadership roles and responsibilities in the church. In addition to the weekly worship and visitation programs, the church also conducts annual outreach events such as church camps and Christmas caroling.
